Our welding methods: TIG, MAG and MMA
We offer TIG, MAG and MMA welding, ensuring the highest quality and precision in the processing of aluminum, low-alloy and high-alloy steels.
- Description: TIG welding, also known as GTAW (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding), involves the use of a non-fusible tungsten electrode that generates an electric arc. The process uses shielding gas (usually argon), which protects the welded area from air contamination.
- Advantages: Allows precision welding of thin materials, offers a high level of control over the weld, ideal for stainless steel, aluminum and other non-ferrous metals.
- Description: MAG welding is an arc welding method using a fusible wire electrode and shielding gas (usually CO2 or a mixture of gases). It is part of the broader category of MIG/MAG (Metal Inert Gas/Metal Active Gas) welding.
- Advantages: Effective for welding structural steels, it allows large areas to be welded quickly.
- Description: MMA welding, also known as SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding) or colloquially as “Shielded Electrode Welding,” involves the use of a fusible electrode coated with a lagging material that forms a shielding gas and slag to protect the weld during welding.
- Advantages: versatile and portable, works well in harsh environments (such as outdoors), suitable for welding thick materials and repairs. Types of metal welding
